DECLEOR AROMESSENCE ANGELIQUE - A QUICK REVIEW

This serum of Angelica, Camomile, Geranium and Rosemary Essential Oils, with a fine and silky texture, is specially formulated for the daily care of dry skin.
A 100% pure and natural concentrate, it softens, nourishes and the skin feels more toned.

Angelica, Camomile, Geranium and Rosemary Essential Oils
Preservative-free . With no mineral oils .
Colorant-free .

In the morning, before your daily moisturiser, warm 2 drops of AROMESSENCETM ANGELIQUE in the palms of your hands and apply to your cleansed face and neck, by massaging gently.
Then apply gentle but firm pressure to the key facial energy points

Jackie From Rocher beauty gave me a sample of this magical, intensely nourishing oil. It smells divine and aromatic without being over-powering (some may find it "herby"). While it is a rich oil essence it is not greasy but amazingly revitalizing  and soothing. My facial skin feels silky and it's really softening up my elbow and knee skin (bane of my life). Excellent for extremely dry, mature skin as well as normal skin. A bit pricey but worth it 0 wish I could slather it all over my body ( expensive exercise). I will definitely be buying a bottle from Jackie .

My Made-From-Scratch Peacock Fans

I love peacock feathers and I decided that the peacock feather would form the basis of my Mehendhi night theme. Much glue, sparkles and feathers later I created two fans - the super big one for a decor peace and the little one to prance about with.

Quarter Life Crisis Time

Excellent Book I picked up from Skoobs. Change of Perspective -
A must read! Great way of learning to let go. It may seem anarchist from the title but it's not at all

Excellent Read that I nicked from my Kilomanjaro climbing sister. You can get it
on Amazon

Still busy making my way through this. I usually motor my way through a book in a day or two. This is a great read so far.

Through the process of reading these books and going through a change in my life the past two years : I know I'm going to be great and I am grateful for the life I am presently reading. Yes sometimes work leaves me exhausted but I get to do at work  as I please , I get to blog - I even visited my parents at lunch (which I do every day) and conked out for an afternoon power nap. It takes me 15 minutes of traffic free driving to get to work. I have a secure job that mind you , has benefits but drives me up the wall and I'm building my aesthetic brand as well. So I'm "sort-of" living the life. I just didn't appreciate for a while.

The old car. I miss it :(. Anyway see what happened

Not sure why the "mags" were fab but the husband said  they were -19" CLS AMG - I have no idea really.
I still don't really understand much about mags and why some are cool and why some are not.

After our trip to Thailand and seeing how the people lived there . I decided that instead of supporting this car (petrol and
insurance) I am going to get a small dinky car - save money for holidays and personal branding. I know you can have it all
but I decided to get practical with the car. Also I couldn't believe I got to buy one of the cars that I'd always dreamed of buying and amazingly I bought and when I did , well it's great for a while but then again it's only a car. Also I gained a bit of inspiration from the "monk who sold his Ferrari". After I sold the car I realized that I'm not much of a "monk" - I really missed the car but there was something in the book that stuck with me. "On your death bed you'll never say - oh I wished I spent more time at work" - it was something like that. Really puts things in perspective.

Wellington's Day

In light of Valentine's Day tomorrow  I thought I'd post a fantastic Valentine's day song. If this doesn't get you in the mood . . . that is indeed sad and you are an extremely hard sell.

Cappuccino Chronicles - The Attic in Parkhurst

Lindt Chocolate Mousse & Hazelnut Tart :
Kamal picked this - it had a great sharp, distinctive rich chocolate flavour and wasn't too"heavy". The base was perfect.

Spiced Carrot & Coconut Sponge with Pecans

- Super moist Carrot Cake - great taste - the icing was very nice but a bit sweet for me (and this is coming from me - Poster Child for Dessert)

Melon Green Tea - I didn't taste much melon but a nice refreshing Green Tea. The most fascinating thing is their "tea decanter contraption". So fancy pants and snazz.I'm not sure if it some sort of modern day gaiwan. Will be sure to take a picture the next we visit The Attic

Cappuccino - great taste but no foam art which was sad and the biscotti was so bleh - like cardboard.

Service was good and friendly, but shame you could tell they were tired after a super long day - would like to try it out again to taste the food.

I nabbed the pics off the JhbLive site.

Confession of the Day- nothing to feel guilty about

I had one of these all by myself - and I don't feel bad about it

Colour Blocking

I absolutely love this trend - although my husband doesn't understand it - especially my take on the whole leopard print -block turquise -block jade green

Go easy on the make-up- maybe a pop of colour on the lips

Do not pile on the accessories

Do not match your shoes to one of the colours - go gold/copper/silver or with another pop of colour
